(NEW Advanced Device)

Unveil your skin’s most youthful, radiant look with Glo’s enhanced microchanneling treatment.

What is Microchanneling?

Microchanneling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment using micro-needles that are tapped into the skin creating uniform microchannels. As they heal the body’s natural wound-healing response is triggered stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin. Improvements may be noticed as soon as the next day, but results ultimately take about a month to fully develop. This natural process leads to softened imperfections and healthier, more radiant skin.

Safe for all skin types. Safe year round. Add-On Options available.

What is the Microchanneling Treatment Like?

Upon arrival at Glo Skin Studio, your skin will be cleansed and prepped to begin the treatment. Depending on the depth and your pain tolerance, numbing cream may be applied. Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the short treatment without numbing agents. Once the treatment is complete, a serum containing growth factors and hyaluronic acid will be applied topically for absorption into the open channels. This sterile, highly concentrated solution nourishes the cells and supports the skin in repairing and rebuilding, leading to enhanced results.

Is There Downtime?

After the treatment, your skin will be slightly pink or red in appearance, typically lasting 4-48 hours. You may experience a warm sensation, or tingling/itching which are great signs that your skin has started regenerating! You may also experience slight dryness a few days after your treatment.

When Will I See Results

Though collagen production takes a minimum of one month, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments you will notice firmer and smoother skin. This is due to your collagen regenerating. The number of treatments needed will depend on your skin condition and concerns.

Does It Hurt?

There may be slight discomfort during the appointment, but it is very mild and does not last long. Afterwards you may experience a slight warm feeling, tingling, and itching which are all normal.

How Do I Maintain Results

It is recommended to maintain results by receiving a treatment 2-4 times a year once optimal results have been reached.

Furthermore, following all recommendations made by Glo Skin Studio for home care and ongoing treatments will protect the investment you made into your treatments.
